Refund & Returns Policy
Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
At Concept Garage, we assess returns and refund requests on a case-by-case basis. This policy applies to products purchased through our website and, where relevant, services and custom projects.
1. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us at [email protected] with your order details and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess your request.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy required by law.
2. Change-of-mind returns
Change-of-mind returns are not automatically guaranteed and will be considered individually. Please contact us before returning an item. We will confirm whether a return can be accepted and advise any applicable conditions.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
3. Custom and made-to-order products
Custom-made, modified, painted, upholstered or made-to-order items may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return. However, customisation alone does not remove any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty, not as agreed or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
4. Custom services and project cancellations
Custom projects are quoted individually, with deposits, milestones and payment terms agreed before work begins. If you wish to cancel or change a project, contact us as soon as possible.
Any cancellation, refund or adjustment will be assessed against the agreed project terms, work already completed, materials or costs reasonably incurred, and applicable legal requirements. No deposit or cancellation term overrides rights that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Return shipping
For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping where agreed and permitted by law. If a product has a problem covered by consumer law, we will meet applicable obligations regarding return costs or collection.
Please do not send products back without contacting us first.
6. How to request a return
Email [email protected] with:
-
Your order number or proof of purchase.
-
The product or service involved.
-
A description of the issue or reason for the request.
-
Photos or other supporting information, where relevant.
We will review your request and explain the next steps.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This policy does not replace or restrict any rights or remedies available to you under that law.
